blueprint to the fall

There is something about the air in chicago. There also something about seeing your favorite band rip apart the stage like you have never seen before. I had the best of both last night seeing Strung Out play at the Metro. Made the trek to and from in one night and dont regret a second of it. I guess I have one – I dont have any photographic evidence. You’d think we all the technology these days I would have some.

Oh well, I guess that is what I get for breaking my telephone. They played all the hits even the exhumation of virginia madison. I pretty much was satisfied at that point and it was half way through the set. Its the best I have ever seen them play…not saying the other times were bad just that they played longer than the other two and at this point they had even better songs in their arsenal.

All in all it was the ending to a perfect weekend. They other bands weren’t bad either. I am ghost were a lot better than I thought they would be and really nice guys. Evergreen Terrace could have kept there set a bit shorter, but they played some catchier songs which is a bit different from the rest of the metalcore these days and for the most part made up for it.

Also got to do some rocking this weekend. These songs are going somewhere even if it kills me. I see a bright light at the end of the tunnel. shine motherf-er, shine!!
