Black history month in the year 2010 officially ends in fifty minutes and I have to crank this out. The United States lost today in overtime to Canada in the Olympic gold medal game. Bad! Moving on.
Black history month this year was not celebrated like I think it should have been. With that being said, I’d like to pay homage to one individual of the black community that has made me laugh from the first time I began watching movies. I grew up with the Naked Gun movies but nothing could really top Airplane!. The jive-talking scenes in that movie with Mrs. Clever being the interpreter was absolute comedic film gold. Oh, and this is pretty funny.
This all kind of started because I have been watching the A-Team reruns on hulu. It just so happened that Al actually appeared in one episode. Turns on he’s been acting a while. For what it’s worth. Happy black history month.
