e.t., lets not phone home and say we did

Lately I have been getting a little fed up with my cell phone. I am at the point now where I have to charge the thing at least everyday. I guess it doesn’t sound that bad, but I used to be able to get three days out of it with no problem. It doesn’t help that I have multiple applications running on it most of the time, but I think windows mobile should take some responsibility for that.

The kicker here is this phone is not even a year old. My two year contract is up next june with T-Mobile and the fact that two phones over the course of that time can’t even make it is ridiculous. I was thinking about getting an iphone once my contract is up, but what happens if I plan to use it as my ipod as well? Bye bye battery life, hello dead air. Not to mention the ridiculous contract these companies make you sign. So I have to pay you to no longer use your service, even though it sucks. This is a whole other entry, so let’s not go down that road.

I’m beginning to realize this argument is making less and less sense being that I use my phone for way more things than phone calls. The point is the cell phone industry has a lock on society and I’m tired of it. Lets all go back to land lines. Life was so much simpler then.
