After another season of NHL down, I am not only dissapointed the red wings had to leave early, but anehiem won the cup. I guess it is far to say that detroit would have had a great shot in the finals, but who knows. When you are facing some one like daniel alfredson, you really can’t predict anything. I mean, not only being a god in some countries, he carried the senators on his back through the playoffs. HE had the mvp in his pocket but it not a whole lot of help from his teammates. And I just love how he shoots the puck at neidemeyer. It just shows that you can be a hard ass and be the top producer in the nhl playoffs.

I just have to think that canadians are throwing rocks right now. Who would of thought a team from south california would be the stanley cup champions? Not me. I guess that things are chaniging but I dont know for the better or the worse. One thing that makes me want to vomit at moments is when nbc pans to that idiot named pierre that talks in the space between the benches. I always hope the guy catches a puck to the eye so we dont have to listen to his halfass game analasys or interviews;

Oh, and I just realized that scott and rob neidermyer are brothers. I actually that the two were the same person. No wonder I always had them mixed up.

update: this really is not an update, I just want eveyone to know that I vaugely remeber writing this three weeks ago and am finally posting it.

applicationville

So now that I have proven to myself that I can configure a linux server, I decided it was time to move on with my projects. Actually the whole server thing feel a bit like a waste because its not real accessible because I am trying to conserve energy cost and never have it on. Anyway, next stop, web applicationville. After months of badgering, I have finally given in to jeff’s idea to create a college housing site. I jumped on this thing for two reasons. First, I am finding myself stoked to design another website. Second, after lending a hand with dave’s homework, I found an urge to sharpen up my php skills. Try somethings I never have with php before and hopefully learn how to develop with it really well.

My vision for this site is fairly simple. I figure it will contain two major segments. One being a search able database of housing around college campuses. It should as accommodating as possible for the end user. All the necessary filtering and navigation options and even offer things like suggestions to certain searches. The next segment would be a application for landlords. This landlord, or house administrator, could log on to the site and maintain a list of houses he or she has available. Essentially it would be a database maintained by the landlord that search able by the end user (or college student).

Is this thing going to have any appeal or even be marketable? Who knows, I dont really care. I just feel the need to get my hands dirty. Assuming the wire is not on television at the moment.
