So I got LAMP install on the server. Again I decided to scrap the DNS thing and was going to set all my PC’s to have static ip addresses, but I think I am going to hold off until I get sick of typing 192.168.0.103 in to the browser. Installing ProFtpd was a snap as well. I can now access the server with gftp…were in, were out, were sleeping.
At this point my next step is to install samba and get that configured. A file server is the third component to my accomplishment with this thing. So, here goes nothing, the third variable to the equation. I am running out of words to say, until next time.
