for the record

18 May 2006 | life, linux, music, rock show | No Responses

First of all, for the record, the dragon force show was extremely rad. I have never seen so much shredding in my life. Oh, and protest the hero was good as well. I wrote about the intersting experience Jason, Dan, and I had while there. You can read it on myspace.

In other news, I have made some updates to my site. I incorperated a search function and now users dont have to search the old fashioned way. I am still debating the keeping of the form no the index page, its doesnt look right, well see. I also added an rss feed to the site. To be honest, I dont know if the xml form is valid for a feed reader, but it looks good and that is all I really am concerned about at this point. Lastly, I added a change log to the site for users to view my development progress. I have kept no track of versioning up until this point (and still really dont because its all manual), so I started at 0.8.0. So I guess this site in still in its beta stage and that is so web 2.0. Does that make me hip to the web community? Who knows. I should put *beta* somewhere in the header to let everyone know.

For the future, I have plans to add other rss feeds, including my things (or interesting articles if you will), and a section of the current book(s) I am reading (yes I read sometimes). So well see, I might get this thing into production one day. Only time will tell.

dragon force on the horizon

3 May 2006 | music, rock show | No Responses

I have made no progress with my music recording, but the future is bright. Jason and I have ideas of practice over the summer. That means there is some killer music on the forefront, I just need to find it. I also think I need to integrate a spel checker into this blogging machine. I am sure some has writtin a php version of it somehwhere. But that is beside the fact, I need to put only a little more time into this things and it will work like wonders.

In other news…

Going to se the dragon force and protest the hero this weekend. Chicago, here I come! I am hoping the show is going to be ripping, I truely have no doubts. Dan might be joining us, but me and dizzle just might burn it down. There will be a review upon my return.
