I recieved my mac mini in the mail the other day. I truely want to say that I like it, but it certainly is taking some getting used to. I suppose I am not saying that I dont like it, but the interface is a bit different and this single-button mouse world is putting up its dukes up to my double-button mouse world, that for sure. If worse comes to worse, I can always revert, inputs are quite compatable.
I do like the unix-like terminal and installing “amp” was a snap. I can now ssh with out opening a seperate application and the visual aspect of OSX is pretty neat. Yet, how much more similar the linux desktops are to windows surprised me.
So in my quest to push windows away, I will continue to adjust. Anyone interested in buying a dell at a cheap price, let me know
